Banff, Alberta is one of my favorite places in the world. It's a small mountain town full of good times and things to do. It's perfect for any season whether you ski, snowboard, hike, swim or fish there will ALWAYS be something to do!
Let's start with accommodation:
Where to stay? Finding a place to stay on a budget is slightly difficult in this town but is still possible. If you are the budget traveler like myself, AirBNB will be your best friend here. AirBNB has hundreds of locations here, close to town and even far into the mountains! There are a few hostels here as well that average $40 per night depending on the dates you choose, however they are all kept up and super nice!
If you are not on a back packers budget you can choose from over 50 hotels!
- Inns of Banff $$
- Red Carpet Inn $$
- High Country Inn $$
- Fox Hotels & Suites $$$
- Hidden Ridge $$$
- Caribou Lodge and Spa $$$
- Moose Hotel & Suites $$$
- Delta Hotel $$$
- Fairmont Banff Springs $$$$
- Rimrock Resort $$$$
Where to eat? For some people, this is more important then where to stay.
Breaky & Coffee:
Casual lunch & dinner:
- Tommy's Neighbourhood Pub
On the fancier side:
- The Keg
AND, YOU CAN'T GO TO BANFF WITHOUT GETTING A BEAVER TAIL.
